General terms and conditions for the use of a holiday home.

1. Subject of the contract: The owner/landlord makes the holiday home available to the tenant for temporary use for the agreed period of time. The booking and use of the holiday apartment takes place exclusively under the following conditions.

2. Booking and conclusion of contract: The holiday apartment is booked by means of a binding written or electronic request from the tenant. The contract is concluded as soon as the landlord has confirmed the booking in writing or electronically.

3. Terms of payment: Payment of the agreed rental price is to be made by the day of arrival at the latest. The deposit is also to be paid in cash upon arrival and will be paid back in full upon proper return of the apartment.

4. Arrival and departure: Arrival is possible from 3 p.m. On the day of departure, the apartment must be vacated by 11:00 a.m. at the latest.

5. Use of the holiday apartment: The holiday apartment may only be used by the persons named in the contract. Pets are only allowed by prior arrangement and at an additional cost. Smoking is not allowed in the holiday apartment. The apartment is to be treated with care and left clean.

6. Cancellation: In the event of a cancellation by the tenant, the following cancellation fees will be charged: up to 30 days before arrival: 50% of the rental price from 29 days before arrival: 100% of the rental price

7. Liability: The landlord is not liable for any damage or loss incurred by the tenant during their stay in the holiday home. The tenant is liable for any damage he causes during his stay.

8. Wi-Fi use: Wi-Fi is provided as a free service for guests of our apartment. Guests agree to use Wi-Fi responsibly and only for lawful purposes. The Wi-Fi password will be provided upon check-in and is for the sole use of the guest. Guests are not allowed to share the Wi-Fi password with anyone outside their group. The Wi-Fi may not be used for any illegal activity, including copyright infringement or hacking. The vacation rental is not responsible for any damage or liability resulting from the guest's use of the Wi-Fi. Guests must comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the use of Wi-Fi, including privacy laws. The holiday apartment owner reserves the right to suspend or terminate the guest's access to the WLAN at any time and for any reason.

9. Security: The landlord reserves the right to have access to the apartment at any time. The landlord will notify the tenant in advance before entering the apartment, unless there is an urgent need to enter the apartment, such as in the case of emergencies or suspected violations of these GTC. The landlord reserves the right to open and close the apartment remotely via the Internet. This may be necessary if the tenant has lost the key or if the landlord needs urgent access to the apartment for other reasons. The tenant may not pass the key on to third parties or duplicate it. If the key is lost or stolen, the tenant must report this immediately to the landlord and assume the cost of replacing the lock and making a new key. The tenant is responsible for the security of the apartment and must ensure that the apartment is locked at all times when leaving it. The tenant is liable for damage caused to the holiday apartment through his fault.

10. Severability clause: Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. A legally permissible regulation that comes closest to the economic purpose shall take the place of the ineffective regulation.

11. Place of jurisdiction: The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from the contractual relationship is the place of residence of the landlord.

12. Final provisions: Changes and additions to the contract must be in writing. Verbal agreements are ineffective. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany.
